about

The birds are back! This is basically an anticipation of what is expected to be the second part of my "Terrabirds from Quintenix" EP, previously released in mid 2022. This have only 3 tracks, 2 of them previously done exclusively for Dwelling of Duels for Magfest Free Month featuring a few talented musicians playing a variety of instruments.

That second part is expected to have like 8 - 10 tracks including improved versions of these. Hopefully it'll be released sometime in mid or late 2023 as I keep ruining more of these tunes from these old good obscure games.

While track 1 is kinda serious and good-sounding, please, beware of the birds assault in track 2. Track 3 is a demo exclusively included in this anticipation and it's expected to be improved and finished for the mentioned Terrabirds from Quintenix II.

In the meanwhile, enjoy the (obviously non) live show of the bird and friends at the port of MAGdridd!

Note: Magdridd is a city in Soul Blazer, where also happens to take place the original source of the second track. Since these songs were originally done for Dwelling of Duels in what happens to be a MAGmonth, it's just funny yet convenient coincidence that it is MAGdridd!

Special thanks to:

Dwelling of Duels ( dwellingofduels.net ): a cool community full of cool people where I learnt all I know about making music and I had the honor and fortune to count with such talented musicians to make this tiny EP possible!

LMMS ( lmms.io ): the DAW I use to make my music. It's free and libre (as in freedom, you know! Not simply a matter of price)

Sites like fantasyanime.com and spriters-resource.com, to make the work of getting some sprites and resources easier to get and use in these pseudoartwork pieces, as well as old but still useful emulators like ZSNES to make the ripping proccess easy for these I couldn't find anywhere. And graphic edition programs like GIMP and Inkscape that I use for these pseudoartworks.

Arrangements/covers of videogames music, mostly metal. Sometimes full synth, sometimes counting with talented artists playing for me. I was known for ruining music with silly vocals and occassionally keep doing so, but don't let that to fool you; I do serious stuff too! ... more
